alright so i got these turbos for free, and they are t3 made by garret off of some chrysler but the flange to mount it 2 the manifold is ...a lot diff then the normal t3. so i got a t3 mani and need to figure out a way to mount it. can i use one of the t3-t4 flanges i saw on ebay? it looks to be the right size..but im not sure, just thought maybe someone had some expirience.

yeah you could use an adapter plate, or get an exhaust housing from another T3 like a ford thunderbird or somthing, pretty much all T3 stuff is interchangeable

 

it's Christmas......it's only a one day deal :P

 

the exhaust housing dp flange will be your next problem. if I remember correctly the chrysler/dodge flange aims the dp directly at the block or the radiator. You will have to chopp of the flange and weld a mandrel bend right off of it.

hmm is this turbo worth using, if its in good shape? i have a garret one and an airesearch one too, same turbos i think? i dont want to boost very much my car is a daily driver and i just want it to be a little quicker. also can i put a diff exaust housing on, from another t3?

 

yeah you could just swap another housing with a standard flange
