Wedge shaped adapter plate?

Will the adapter plate I'm getting made need to be wedge shaped? It's for a 14b turbo, hf manifold, and going on a d16a6. Thanks

wedged is usually if your trying to save your AC, if not, than flat it fine.

LOL my invention lives on. You do know that nobody (that I am aware of) has actually TRIED the wedge shaped adapter plate idea I came up w/ to save AC?
