if u really wanted to do it u could go to the junkayard and get the whindshild sprayers and the tank with the water pump in it. that should work..... just mount the nozzles in front of the ic. u might even think about putting ice in the tank ;) and if i were you i wouldnt use co2.... it is cryogenic but it actually lowers ur hp when ur engine sucks it up. go here for info :) http://www.cryofuzion.com/spraybar.htm

or you could just drill a hole in the actual intke piping and install an injector, then spray windshield fluid in the intake... i do it and it works good... it raises compression, cools the charge, the alcholol raises octane rating, and is verry inexpnsive. |

if misting the intercooler is a waste of time, do u really think subaru engineers would go to all the trouble to engineer a water-misting setup on the sti? i'd say they probably did a lot more testing than the guy with a fan and a heat gun. ::)

the STI definetly has a was sprayer on top of the IC that mists water on the outside..i don't know how effective it is. but subaru engineers can't be too stupid I think someone should say..hey i'm sorry lol
