water cooling idea... anyone?

water cooling idea... anyone?
I have a dsm T25 with both water and oil cooled. Was just thinking, what if instead of running coolant straight from motor to turbo back to motor... how about having it run thru the radiator first before going into the turbo, then back to motor? Reason being, my bro's hb has an automatic radiator with the two nipples at the bottom of the radiator for an automatic tranny which is not being used because the d16z6 is running a manual tranny.
On another note, with that being said- I could probably run oil thru that if I wanted to can't I, especially since thats a totally seperate section from the coolant above (meaning it is not connected)... or am I wrong?
Any ideas, questions or suggestions? Anyone ever done this? Cool beans!

Yeah oil really doesn't work well as a coolant. If you run water through the turbo it will probably help against oil coking and you won't have to turbo time you ---- as long, but they are used turbos we're using so they do have a degree of coking on the to begin with. I'd run them if it's not too much hassle. It can't hurt any.
