Are you guys talking about water injection? Where a mist is injected into the air charge to help cool and prevent detonation?

becuase I just meant misting water on the OUTSIDE of the intercooler if you read the post.
with the idea to have air and water cool the intercooler

Re: Water cooling AIR to AIR Intercooler!!!

all i know is it was very easy and worked quite well in my other car to keep it from overheating. I just used the window wiper fuid tank and lines, ran one to a copper coil line, put holes in it where needed, and put water in the tank, and when the car started to overheat I would turn that on (window washer switch) and it helped a decent amount in keeping the car from overheating. now i understand that a radiator and intercooler may be affected differently by water coming on them to cool the inside (as air and oils have different heat properties)

i didnt say it wont work. jus said those are kits ready to be used for those who want to. c02 being more affective imo
