So I just got my wastegate today and I was wondering. Before I put this ---- together is there a way to check to make sure they put the correct spring in the WG? I ordered one with a 6psi spring... but I want to make sure before I put it on and overboost my ----. So anyone have any ideas?

 

what kind os wg is it take it apart and see if the spring has a color on it..

 

Its a XS Power and the spring is yellow in color.

 

C'mon someone has got to have some input on this

 

i think the yellow spring is a 5 pound spring..

 

Is there a technical way to figure this out? Like hooking up a hose and putting some air pressure on it or something?

Those bastards! According to your 2nd link the yellow one is the 3psi spring I SPECIFIED THE 6psi spring
And the 3rd link is the one I used to actually buy the WG <--- irrelevant

I guess I'll just try it out and if it doesn't go over 3-4 psi I'll just throw that MBC on there.

If you bought it from ssautochrome, email their customer support and they'll send you the correct spring free of charge. Thats one thing about ssac, their cs is pretty damn good.
