i think its adjustable not sure, but when i had it apart there was 4 little allen screws at the top of it maybe to set where it stops?

Haha, I think it was embedded the first time around so there was no clicking, but yea I'm like 98.76% sure that's the fire ring. Mine is gapped like that too and works fine. I think it'll shut under vaccumm.

bolt it down, and rock it just like that. you will be just fine, my ching chong ---- ngyun wg is the same way.

my knock off tial is nothing like that. the fire ring doesnt sit flush it sits out a little so when you tighten it the ring compresses the pistion
