Take off the actuator and put the manifold and turbo on you car. Make sure at least that fits.

From there, you really need to gauge how much space you have behind your turbo. I kind of just threw my wastegate in loose, bolted the manifold to the block and it worked. So I had to figure out how to attach it. I'll tell you now, the wastegate actuator touches the turbo and it touches the block... That's how tight it is. I just started hacking up little flat brackets I got from Lowes, maybe slotted them a little until I got it to work... Just make sure when you put your actuator back on that it closes the flapper. Not super tight, just snug...

If it doesn't fit behind the turbo, you need to see if you can lengthen the arm. If you can't lengthen the arm, get a new manifold....

Here's some pictures of my setup:

Re: Wastegate Issue on D16

i ran a 14b with HF manifold on a d16. what i did was unbolt the actuator from the compressor housing, clock the compressor housing to where it was pointing up and slightly towards the front of the car, then using a small stack of washers, bolt the actuator back onto the compressor housing using only one bolt.

It worked fine.

Re: Wastegate Issue on D16

lol, i had this problem.

i started grinding away at the block, so i could make the aucuter fit, low and behold, i put a hole in the ------- block. jb weld is a lifesaver.

now to add to this thread, take your aucuter to home depot, buy some threaded rod the same size as your aucuater rod. then just extend your rod and mount the auctuater in a different location. bacially you have to "nigga" rig it up there somehow. get creative. if all else fails, check out what I did in my set up (link in sig) I plan on remounting my aucuater this weekend somehow, but i plan on doing it just how i tried to explain. im sure alot of "afro engernieering" will come into play.
