Hi i was bought a wastegate use from someone on ebay and when i received it i opened it and it was like that

so what can i do and what will happen if i put i like that?
it is not a real tial so can i bought a tial diaphram?

 

It wont open like that and you will maybe blow your motor. If you paid with a credit card through paypal, charge it back.

 

ssautochrome sells just the diaphragm now, might want to look into that.

 

 

If you can't return it, the ssauto replacements are actually decent, and 1/5th the price of a Tial part. I had a cheap WG that ended up ripping enough to leak under vacuum (houls), but held boost. Where the lip met the body, it was thinner than a condom.

The new ssauto diaphragm is actually the same stuff as in Tials, the nomex type rubber with an almost fabric backing. Doesn't stretch at all,and fits perfect.
