Want tips/comments on my stride to 500whp pump gas LS-VTEC
I am nearly completion of my LS-VTEC motor build on my way to 500hp. I know its no major feat anymore so, yeah, w/e. So far this is what the motor consists of-
AEBS sleeved 81mm LS
Wiseco coated 9.0:1
Eagle H-beams
ACL rod/crank bearings
Cometic stock height HG
minor porting on B16 head
Ferrea Titanium Valves
RLZ engineering titanium retainers/springs
Comp/Zex stage 3 turbo cams
Turbo accesories i've collected-
RevHard 32X10X3.5 intercooler
2.5in Piping
Tial 50mm BOV
With the info above given, I'd like some comments/advise as to which turbo i should use to make 500whp on pump gas. I am considering a Master Power TO4E 57, A/R 82 exhaust- Love to find a .63, or maybe .70. I also need suggestions on a manifold. I'd really like to keep A/C and I have been considering P-Fab's A/C compatible log style manifold but I'm questioning its efficiency on my way to 500. Please check out my specs, and make some suggestive comments as to what turbo and manifold you all recomend. This car will probably see quite a bit of street time, not really a track car. k... my insight/constructive criticism...
YOU WONT make 500whp on pump [91/92oct]
that turbo is CRAP...refer to #1...
the key to power is tuning... refer to #1
turbo cams are gay... i run NA cams... power can be had.....but... refer to #1
possible? yes. gonna take a big turbo, cams, [real] portwork.... and TUNING BY A PRO...
i have personally seen low 10sec racecars with log manifolds...

Ya Holset or like a 3071 or....A bilge pump motor attatched top a flux capacitor .... but then you ll need 21 Jigga -whats to get it to spool....
