i voted , yes, its worthless, a jrc 5 ich can be had for 150 shipped

 

I seen an EG on HT pushing 230whp through one but said he could see the IAT temps rising after a few good pulls

ANd like Josh said, you can get a NEW JRC 5" for like 150

And anything descent sized used for like $100, defientely dont settle for the sidemount

Ive seen starion's for $50 but the endtanks mods add up and you might as well just buy a good aftermarket

 

an intercooler is one thing u dont want to get cheap on. i learned the hard way.

 

yeah and they aint even expensive if you look around

got my 30 X 9 X 3 for 180 shipped new or something like that and its dam large n shiny

 

Or get creative and weld 2 smics together to make a nice 4in core fmic. Total cost, like 70bucks including welder time/materials.
