wanna keep my ac, possible with a custom adapter plate and hf manifold?

correct and the HF manifold will let the turbo sit way to far over so it has no prayer of fitting with A/C. no adapter plate will help.

unless the crx has different clearance issues it can be done, but you will be limited to turbo size. click the link in my sig to see ac/std-hf manifold on my '00 civic.
