Default vtec or not to vtec turbo

I know this is a dumb *** ques but let me hear some input.I'm currently runnin a turbo d15b vtec but my vtec is not connected does it make a big difference in hp like how i'm being forcefed,if it makes a diff how much horses u think i'm losin or would get if it is connected.

d15bvtec
log manifold
holset hx40(hybrid)
evo5 intercooler
4 puck act w/stockpressure plate

your spooling that and you dont even have the high cam profile wired up? it would probably help your engine move that air allot.

vtec and turbo are like jd, and r.s. they belong together.

you'll get some gains if you wired the vtec up.

I heard vtec lags the setup with a turbo

VTEC will give you a small gain in power, but a LARGE gain in spool time. We had Atlee's Z6 set for 4K (stock 4400) and he had full 14 psi spool 800-1000 rpms sooner. You could see the boost gauge needle jump up at VTEC transition.

stock it engages at 5200 and disengages at 4800 for a Z6
