where can u get a flange for the volvo t3 to make it fit on a normal t3 manifold?
they sell them, but there like around $50. so I made my own. I'll sell you the one I made for $20 shipped. its not perfect but it worked, you can tell that it wasn't made by a personal, but it worked. I'll send you a pic of it if you want.
ya send me a pic .. and i was looking at this web site that sells flanges JGS Precision Turbo its the "tk214" flange .. i was thinking maybe i can just put that on top of the exhaust flange and just pancake it to the manifold .. i guess it would be sort of an "adapter" ..
if the flange is made for the turbo, then it should. in this case use a 1 t3 gasket and on the turbo side use a volvo gasket. thats pretty much what I have
alright kool .. so i guess ill go ahead and get that flange .. and also i got my manifold today (ebay) its a cast iron one .. looks pretttttty good to me .. oh also i have a question .. is it hard to route the tubing when then compressor outlet is facing downward ?
U'll have to keep trying different ways. theses turbos fit kinda weird.
sure do!
damn alright .. prolly have to use a bunch of 180* and 90* elbows
in some cases yes. in my setup I was going to only need a 90
