IMHO it's a hunk o' ---- for $25.

It looks very similar to the one on my 740 turbo and it gets mounted right on the turbo itself.
I'd say to look elsewhere for one.

it will work fine.
i have one on my car. (d16z6)
they are german by a company called Pierburg. they are all going to be dirty because volvo mounts them directly to the engine.
i recommend them. they are heavy duty units and better than the plastic bosch ones. there is also an adjustment screw on the top.

I have one just like it that I got form the junk yard off a saab 900 for ten bucks. Works good as hell and sounds loud too. No laser sounds or any of that crap but makes a nice loud pshhhh sound. Its adjustable too so it never really doesnt work. Mine was a little dirty when I got it so I just broke out the dremel and polished it up and now it looks brand new again. If only it wasnt jb welded on the charge pipe
