Default vitaras and blow-by?

ok i am running vitaras and when i checked ring gap it was on the far end of honda spec with a large standard deviation, but still with in ring gap specs.

my question is how many other people are running these and if so are you getting alot of blow-by, and what kind of mpg are you seeing?

this is the kind of catchcan i made for blow-by

nonvtec seems to ruin these with good results, hes got some piston slap, but the car does not smoke whatsoever.

well i am not concerned about it smoking, i am concerned about how much blow-by is collected in the catch can, and curious to know what effects this would have on mpg?

but yeah you are correct piston slap is there not really that noisy seems to reduce as engine temps rise.

Well, my Vitara has never had more than a few drops spill out the breather hose. It does have piston slap when cold though, has always been like that.
