I have been reading some of the DIY D series turbo stuff and i have a fair amout of turbo knowledge from playing with DSM's but the one thing i dont understand is the Valve cover to the catch can recirculating to the intake manifold, what is this? I think that it is to relieve crank pressure, but thats a maybe. Can somone explain this in detail and most of all how to do it? Pics would be great.

 

I have a breather filter on my valve cover outlet and the stock pcv system. i ran a catch can once and i started having overheating problems. the stock pcv system works good enough for me.

 

i just have the "two rubber hoses that point towards the ground" pcv system and have had no problems
