using a pre-fab manifold with a junkyard turbine to keep a/c and still be cheap?
Ive been paying with the idea in my head of obtaining a Greddy or A'PEXi manifold for the SOHC and just slapping an inexpensive say.. 14B or T25 up to the manifold (maybe using a bolt-on adapter plate) to retain A/C.
i honestly dont wanna drop the $$ on a GReddy kit when i KNOW for a fact i can make a better kit for less money. i just dont want to ditch my A/C....its quite useful and nice
opinions? im not sure if itd work...thanks in advance.

If you have a mig/tig welder or know someone with one, I'd recommend just making a manifold. PM typert for your flanges (good prices, best I've found yet) He can get you your T's and elbows too, but I've found them locally for the same price so check around and save the shipping cost for them or If you can't find em, just get it all at once. Then just weld it up and put the flange wherever you want that fits your dp with a/c in tact. Total cost ~$60

I think I can find someone to weld something for me..what kind of materials should I use if I were to build a custom manifold? I guess stainless steel is the best option?
Sinner - where did you find a manifold/turbo for $300? damn!
thanks for your help guys

That isnt that great of a deal and i dont think it deserves a damn i picked up an entire greddy kit including bov and greddy fmic and 17 inch rims for 500 bucks then i sold the rims for 300 so i only paid 200 for the kit now that is a deal

Well, from what I've heard, if you use stainless for a turbo mani, you have to use 304L and it's $$$. The Flanges alone would cost more like $100 instead of $35. If you want to spend the money, that probably is the best option. I'm just using mild steel myself because I know I'll be changing it within a year or 2.
