Default Using cold air intake as charger piping?

I'm using my existing cold air intake as charger piping on my project but what about the vaccum lines attached to it? Will they or the map sensor blow off or release pressure to places that shouldn't have it? Has anyone else done this before?

You can use the cold air intake no problem, but thier is a port for the vent for your valve cover. Plug that on the intake, and simply put one of those small filter breathers off your valve cover.

I was thinking of doing this also. The thing is, my CAI has like 3" tubing. Isn't that too big for charge pipes?

it might be a little big. it will increse the turbo lag. the smaller the pipe the less lag time. i have 2 1/2 in pipes on mine and the lag time is about 1200-1500 on a d-15 honda motor. keep it below 2 1/2 in if you want better responce off the line. really true for auto turbo set ups.

Gotta love those mubobbers. Guess what, my friends dad said that I can use his new Mandrel machine. Only thing is, I gotta do it myself cuz they don't know how to use it
