Default Upgrade w/ an OEM Fuel Pump and Save?

I was just wondering if anyone knew the flow rates of honda fuel pumps. I have a 98 Civic EX(D16Y and want to put a 00 Si fuel pump in, good idea? How bout a Prelude, Odessey, Integra GSR pump.... What will be a good budget upgrade besides a walbro 255? Thank you my boosted brotherin......

Please don't tell me your too cheap to spend $80 on a Walboro . Maybe if the SI pump comes with some stickers you might see a difference

a honda pump is a honda pump, just like a honda injector is a honda injector. a 92 dx has the exact same pump & injectors as a 01 type r.

but maybe the type r pump is lighter and you will feel a diffrence from the weight reduction.

your stock fuel pump is good up to and maybe past 250-275hp (assuming its in good condition and on a 97 it should be). Almost all fuel pumps are interchangable - Mitsu, Toyota, Honda, More... however... I would not buy a used one... and why buy a brand new honda fuel pump (which are all almost the same) for $100+ when you can get a high flow for $80 ::hammer to head::

Ok, So I know its ghetto but Im using a 12:1 FMU. Dont I need a higher flowing fuel pump? Can I just use the stock pump? Its not that Im cheap, Im just trying to build a super low budget turbo system. I prolly will buy a Walbro but just wanted to see if OEM pumps can feed a 6psi FMUed setup. Thanx again...
