thanks and also i forgot to say that i'll be running a tube from the front bumper to the place where a cai goes.. and i'll be making a shield of some sort to make sure hot air won't get to it that much.

i don't see why its a big problem that the IC is right there? its like running a stock airbox... same thing once i get a tube running from the front to the hole. also i'll be making some kind of a heat shield.. so why would this be a huge problem?

I have personally ran with the intercooler under the hood in the exact same spot with the exact same intercooler. It looks really good there, I did it with a real clean install, but it was a heat sink. Still I have to say that ---- looked tight! I think I got about .5 seconds back on the quarter mile with I fixed it. It got horribly hot.

you think my idea will work bolt like a rubber piece or something around the intercooler where the engine sits and run a tube from the front of the bumper to the cai hole.. will that work well or no?

holy crap man take that blue tube off the valve cover and the charge pipe and put one of those little filters on there! You're pressurizing your crank case!

as far as your plans for the intercooler, it sounds like more trouble than it's worth and you will still get a lot of heat. just mount it where it is on the stock dsms, near the wheel well.
