Update pics of my D16 turbo del sol. From BAD to good. :) Hint: ugly-*** bumpe
Well boys and girls. Im sure most of you remembered my uglys *** bumper on my old setup (starion intercooler) Since I didn't have brackets. I just decided to Bunji chord it to my bumper support lol. Worked great...but the outcome wasn't soo good.

BUT there's good news! I got it fixed! I ordered my Johnnyracecar front mount last week tues. night. And to my surprise it got to WI in 3 days!!!! lol DAMN that's good service. I bought the 6". My friend matt came over (XXslayerXX) and helped me work on it. He took all the pictures here and they turned out great...(there's more on the way that were taken during the day along with my JDM POSE YO!) haha
Here's the progress pics. (final pics at the end)

Now for the good shots! Matt had to lighten the pics up because it was getting dark out.

Oh yeah and he wanted pics of this....

[/B]Well, overall im VERY happy with it. I wanted the car to stay as stock as possible. Hence stock exhaust (with Y-pipe). The IC fit good. Matt had to rotozip the bumper up pretty good, but overall it looks good. I LOVE that IC. Im thinking about adding a lip (but suspension's coming first) and also thinkin about putting mesh over the IC not sure yet.

Turbo D16z6 @ 10psi
T3 60 trim (.60/.63) TON of lag :P but it pulls hard
450cc injectors
VAFC
Johnnyracecar IC
2.5" DP to Y pipe
1G BOV
Custom manifold (made by RenoRacing) This thing is GREAT! (great seller) :thumbup:
Oil lines from Paul Vang! (great seller) :thumbup:
2.25 to IC and 2.5 to TB
That's about all I can think of
6 puck and Walbro 255 hi-flo are sitting in the basement collecting dust haha (that doesnt' help) Hopefully going to put them on next week. Stock clutch slips a TON.
But I can still spin them through 2nd finally haha. =)

. Wow your still on the stock clutch?! I'm surprized it lasted this long.

It looks badass, and about 5000% better than it did before, but HOLY ---- what size is that oil feed line?

Hey i like it... looks very nice. Yeah i can see that the bottom of the IC is a bit lower then the bumper itself, but nothing the lip wouldn't fix, right?

I'm gonna guess that's a -8 feed line. The first -8 feed line I've seen, but I guess its working.
The car looks way way better with the new IC. I'm a little disappointed that you didn't paint it black, but whateva.
