I love the way the old straight sixes sound running a straight pipe. In your case an open DP will be even better. When they are under load it remings me of the trucks we used to run striaght stacks on. Killer sound, but damn it will give you a headache on a long trip.

Dude that is ------- awesome. My dad inherited his fathers 64 el camino... it had the 230 IL 6 in it with a 3 in the tree.. after i wrecked my first car, it became my daily driver. I used to pull my ski boaty all over with that thing it was amazing. I bet its funner trhan a greased up ----- in a crack farm....

Yeah soon, were working on getting it drivable by Friday. Made a Carb Hat from a $4 SS Pasta Canister from Walmart for it

Temporary until I can get a real carb hat for it. Hopefully my Mandrel bends show up today so I can get some sort of a DP on it and get the o2 hooked up. Don't really wanna drive it boosted without.
