Default UnStealable Bolts

Where could I get bolt that I could use for my turbo project that nobody could take off without special tools?

What are you trying to protect from getting stolen? That'd be a good start.

very true...

the best thing to do is find something that makes it harder ... just long enough for you to get you gun...

there is no fool proof method... but the sites posted above are pretty good... or you could get what is refered to as wave guide screws at my work... and basicly its just alon rench bolts... put them on everything... cause majority of people(unless you own a motor cycle ) dont cary allan wrenches... they carry socket sets...

just a thought...

if you are trying to protect your turbo from getting stolen, all the ideas dont cover the exhaust manifold. sure they can take the turbo with a socket set..but they can take ur ehaust mani which ur turbo is bolted onto....

Or dont worry about it and tack weld a nut onto the header/manifold flange by the block and the one for the turbo. Later on you can just grind the spot welds off. Not every nog will bring something to grind it of and it will be a bitch to hack saw off.

Call Skynet and hire a terminator to sit in your car, I bet no one will ever go near it.
