hey, do you guys know of that turbonator/tornado thing that goes after the air filter, and um it says that it spins the air so that it creates a vortex to create upwards of 20-30 hp, um yeah...

i think the thread starter meant something different..

http://www.globalautoshop.com/images...ex/vortex4.jpg

These things I think is what he meant.. they also are pieces of ----, true it "may" help a little bit but I wouldn't trust that ----.. not for the price - I would say build your own, do it HMT stylez.

Another fact that I need to point out is rookies install these things on factory vehicles that have a baffled air box.. yeah that works great to create a "spin" and "airflow" then the baffles of your existing snorkel lines are only going to reintroduce the turbulance... marketing genious I tell you!

This is the way I see it...air flow fast though a smooth pipe...put crap in the way of fast flowing air, air slows down. I can see how it MIGHT increase your MPG a very little bit, but I can NEVER see it making more power. Just my thougts...it would be interesting to see a REAL before and after dyno sheet, not the comercials dyno, but that's alot of money for a little bit of info...
