well driving around today.. then all of a sudden car started to run a little weird.. and i noticed there was a little bit of white smoke coming out my exhaust..

my first thoughts were blown head gasket..


took it home and did a compression check... 3 clyinders with about 175,,, the other,.. nothign at all..

could this still be just a head gasket? or somethign a little more serious.. like rings?

you fucked something up, white smoke is oil, so check your head gasket. then while the head is off, check the piston walls. what is your setup. that would help a lot.

 

look at your plugs to see if they met the piston

 

white is coolant
light blue is oil

do a leak down

not entirely true, when my turbo went to ----, i got shitloads of white smoke

 

thats because the oil was touching the hot exhaust housing of the turbo not being compressed and actually burned

 

 

just tear the head out and see whats really wrong... nothing sucks more ***** than trying to guess whats wrong with something

 

You're an idiot. White smoke is coolant.

You either blew the ---- out of your headgasket, or a multitude of things.
