Default twin turbo nova

ok im new to turbocharging but have been around cars for about 8 years now building and renewing. i just recently purchased a 1978 nova and thinkin of twin turbos over a supercharger. im really stuck between the 2 and was wondering if turbos would bring out more power than a supercharger. its gonna be based on a built 350 or a 383 SBC and i want to build a sleeper...(nothing out the hood for sure...to damn hard to find parts). currnetly i have a 305 sbc and was just thinkin of power gainers besides nitrous.

dual turbos will give you bigger gains then a supercharger.

Turbocharging will definatly allow for better top end performance, with the right setup. And since there is no direct connection to the crankshaft (like with a supercharger) there is no parasitic losses to drive the compressor.

Turboing a carb car is easy as you can order boost ready carbs now and they will even pre-jet it for your application.Like a basemap i suppose. That and a MSD boost timing master and your golden.Twin turbos are fairly straight forward on a sbc.If i were you i would head over to http://www.turbomustangs.com/smf/
There is a great sbc section as well as a carb/turbo blow through section.A couple used T3's and some home made manifolds and your rockin.

yes its gonna stay carb'd for sure, dont want fuel injection. the less amount of electronics to run the better it is for me. i dont even plan on running electronic boost controllers either(no really sure yet). and yes custom headers will be made right out of my schools shop(im only 17 so i got a shop full of a wide selection of tools to use). ill take a look at the site mentioned and see what they got goin on.

well i payed 200 for my nova from the junkyard, and i also have a 91 civic hbi payed 350 for, but its mostly stock besides the shaved moldings and refreshed body work, and im planing on buying a pontiac fiero and puttin a turbo on it.. Also the turbomustangs site is nice. but i cant sem to find a thread that states wether or not a t3-t40e hybrid turbo would be good enough for a 2500-6000 rpm range.
