Default twin turbo 4.3L V6

ok I have a 89 chevy fullsize its got a 4.3L V6 and I want to do something nobody really does with these motors and thats build it up by doing a twin turbo. I was thinking about doing a t3/t4 setup (is that too small or too big?).And I need to find somebody who can make me a new exuast manifolds for teh turbos and then I need to see if I can use my TBI and also see what size intercooler I would need and where I could put it. But any ideas and suggestions would be great. Cause I'm just a highschool student thats trying to build a show truck and dont know ahole lot about turbos so I need all the help I can get.

If you're just a high school student working on a show truck then consider getting a kit for everything. This all depends on your budget and skills. I drive an '86 k5 blazer, I'm familiar enough with your truck. Lots of room to do whatever you want in it. I've had mid 90s Z71s as well. It would be very easy for you to upgrade to a v8 in that truck, bellhousing is the same, you'll have to look into the motor mount locations but I don't think that will be very hard. You are welcome to try and pimp out that electronic carburetor of yours but I don't think there is much support for that unit, consider going with a holley double pumper.

Read this thread and get back to us on some ideas:

Goodluck affording cyclone parts. Go custom man. Are you even considering upgrading to a v8?

dropping a v8 in a chevy C series truck is the best option. Why bother wasting the effort on fabrication of the v6 when the v8 will be worth a lot more and the power gains will be that much better.

----, just start out with a so-so 305 and work on a better engine as time progresses. The motor swap should come before the turbo.

yo you should go TT T3 60 trims... with the right setup/fabrication/managemant itd own 305s easily.. theyre slow... aim for SRT10s
