Re:Twin Turbo

i say scrap the idea of a turbo per 2 cylinders. if you really wanted to use 2 turbos, research a sequencial (sp?) turbo setup. if you remember the Ultimate Street Car Challenge from like 2 years ago, one guy had an MR2 with a supercharger and a turbo. The supercharger would work from idle up to a certain rpm and then the turbo would take over when it is fully spooled. as i recall, he had quite a few problems in getting the transition right, but with enough tuning, im sure it can be done. with this, i think you can make more power than a turbo per 2 cylinders and you'll almost always be in boost.

if I were you I would use 2 stock turbos from an rx7 or a supra.. both are small and readily available...

I have a pair of supra tt turbos I was kicking around the same idea, but besides the already mentioned problems.. packaging is pretty tight in a honda as well..

I think it could work, but I would astick to 1 intake manifold, just y the charge pipes together before the throttle boddy..

good luck

a pair of supra or rx-7, will cause alot of lag, rotaries put out alot of exhaust pulses which makes the turbo work really well with the rotary engine, while the supra twin turbo are made for 3.0L engines, you will have no use for these turbos because you one to run a small one to quickly spool at low rpm and a high end turbo to work the top RPMs. with these turbo like u can sum everything up yourself, they will work both at a later rpm, not so good for street use.

If you have the money to toss around, go for it. I would use two turbos from a diesel since they have to be at full boost before there redline of about 3250. ;)
