Default Turning off the boost...

Lets just say I'm hooking up my turbo kit and I'm not finshed but need to drive the car. Is there anyway to turn off the boost off completly.

I believe I heard that you can disconnect the actuator rod to the wastegate to turn off the boost. I have an internal wastegate by the way.

Could I leave all of the charge pipes hooked up that go to the turbo still? or would I have to disconnect those as well.

just leave the charge pipes off and hook a filter to your intake manifold, or you can make a shrt ram intake and hook a filter to it. Not sure if leaving the cahrge pipes on will starve your engine for air......

Easy enough turbocivic...I was afraid of the same thing it starving for air.

I can figure something out I'm sure on that one...just clamp it to my charge pipe... haha maybe after my intercooler and make it a cold air intake [/sarcasm}
