Car turning off after boost??
Hey guys i could use some help here... since all of you have probably done several projects this might apply to you. Right now im running a dohc zc with a saab t3 turbo. Im just running 5 psi on stock injectors with an fmu. I dont even have my check valves on their yet and no downpipe or 02 sensor.
My problem is after i boost and then let off the throttle the rpms slowly drop all the way to 0 and my car dies. A friend told me my motor is getting to hot inside, Another guy suggested it may be a fuel pressure problem...
Also my turbo blows some white smoke out of the exhuast but i cant tell if im feeding to much oil or have a seal problem
any suggestions
thanks alot
mike
yes i notice oil leaking in my charge pipes, and around the exhuast bolts of the turbo, however i noticed that that leakage was from two bolts being loose... but its not like white smoke being burnt from being hot... its being blown out powerfully from the exhuast side of the turbo

so the fact that these bolts are loose can be a possibility for the white smoke.... well i will clean it all up tighten up down good as i planned 2, get all my ---- on and boost again, by then the oil should have leaked out... btw i blew my oil feed line boostin last night, let it be a lesson to do it right the first time and use threads not clamps, lol

ill be fixing those today as well

mine does that too but i think it just dies because after full throttle the car cant idle because my throttle cable is worn out and sticky and the turbo is putting more backpressure on the engine at really low rpms so it just kills it.. but it has done it about twice.. its really annoying.
