As far as rotaries, I don't know much of ---- about them. All I know is a friend bought a brand new RX8 and took it back less than a couple years later because it was burning oil like a champ, traded it in for a new rustang gt.

rx4's make good drag shells becuase they are so old just bolt in a newer engine and some management and go. kinda like a old gm truck. pretty easy to work on. but they are also so old that there is no hope of the original engine working lol. unless your super lucky.

well, im paying 150 bucks for the pair, so i'm not too terribly worried about whether the original engines are going to run or not. the bodies are both straightish with complete interiors. they have the original mail slot exhaust tips. im looking foreward to these cars...should be a learning experience.

He must be a glutton for punishment, my friend at Ford says he's had three of the new GT's come in with excessive rear end chatter, like some kind of differential problem. Sounds fantastic

I think the new renesis motors use high pressure oil squirters and some sort of Mazda specific oil, i.e. emissions garbage took the two stroke lubrication out of teh wankel

Dont let theese guys scare you off... LOTS of people have made big power with 12a turbo setups... Right now I would have to say your makeing 100 hp... AT THE FLY... They did make a 12a turbo motor factory, they were rare but you can find the stock turbo setups every once in a while. The easyest way to turbo one of those setups is to go tbi injection with a megasquirt... my $.02
