This is an awesome post for newbies to turboing cars like me-Alot of questions like the Bov hookup and threading questions could be answered with a heartbeat. Nice pictures too...archive this...it's simple but informational...again great job Jeff!!!

hey abaz...I see it's a water/oil cooled turbo and that you have the water lines blocked off. Is this safe? I've always been curious about this? So just because a turbo CAN be water/oil cooled doesn't mean it has to be??
what did you use to block off those water lines?? I see they are some sort of brass fittings of some kind but what are the thread sizes??

This turbokit is back in my possesion, and will be shipped out monday 6/30 w/ ups tracking #.. slight confusion on transaction.. My appoligies
No, you dont have to block anything off if you dont use the watercooled center section.
