Default Turbod16sp's Build Thread

I recently got my friend started with an account on here after he purchased his 00 Civic DX. Car has a salvage tiltle/theft recov. 30k and he only paid $5000 for it. At first he was all about forged ---- until he found more out about the FJT/Vitara combo. Since then we've been on a race to find parts. So far we managed to gather:

Cdm Cast Manifold
IHI RHC-6 GM-1 Turbo
HKS SSQV Blow Off Valve
z6 head, intake mani / y8 block
OBD-1 PR4 ECU

Still looking for all the other parts needed to get this ---- together by May at the latest. Car will be tuned on Hondata S300. He just picked up sleeves off someone on here but not sure if he plans on using cast pistons and sleeves. Anyway I'll try and keep you nogs updated as much as I can with pics and ----. Until then here's some of the car how he bought it.

for what your boy will pay just for the S300 you could run crome pro and get a tune for the same $
use the money saved to get some suspension parts and lose the 4x4 stance
other then that good start

visit fjt distributors for his vitara/custom h-beam rod's setup, definitely worth it for the $$$. Hit up ebay for a cheap intercooler, swap over to a multiport intake manifold (z6 or y, get some DSM 450cc fuel injectors and your get that bitch together

He's going with the vitaras for sure. Intake mani's taken care of but it is a multiport y7 but being replaced by a z6. I have 450's but he wants to get 1000's just so he never has to upgrade. As for the intercooler.... Fedex was nice enough to bring us this

5g's for a car with 30k after every interior and exterior panel was replaced and repainted after the theft. Seemed pretty good around here since you see 4dr ek's with more miles going for 6k
