you think a straight 6 is huge... have you ever seen a straight 16? yeah, i saw one on speedvision one night it was a vintage open racer, it only made like 160 hp but had about 1,300 ft lbs of torque.

inline 6s are all torque no revs. at least OHV ones.

v6 are far superior in all aspects.

most 6 cyl engines are meant to please women and homosexuals. ie the 6 cyl camaro and mustang. i cant knock jeep straight sixes my dad has one with 202,000 on it and she purrs. i think gm should have just built the camaro with the turbo six and no v8 ever though. also i think the gm 3.8 liter v6 is the best engine ever made..

So you must be a fan of the old Buick Indy Lights V6?

Off topic, but I prefer the sound of an I6 over a V6, so it 'must' be better.....heheheheh

HAHA !! The turbo trans-am is the fastest factory TA every built !!! It has a better version of the buick GN motor that you just said "kicks ***" !!!
The turbo TA runs 13.0s from the factory. The older turbo camaro ( I think 1981 ) did suck *** though !!!

Your right the 1980 ( I thought it was 81' ) trans am sucked ***.

The one I speak of was built in 1987 and was a 25th year aniv. trans am. it was powered by a 3.8 turbo buick motor that had a few "little" mods to it.

The famous comedian Sam Kenithson killed himself in one. They only built it for one year b/c just like the GMC syclone, it smacked the vette, and GM couldn't have that !!

It doesn't help my arguement any, but I think the 1980 turbo TA was an inline motor, but the 6.6L bandit trans am only made like 190hp !!! that year or the year before.
