all I know is that the K is really a truck motor...but I've seen turbo kits for it, so I'm presuming it can be done...

Kits are around 4 grand and i havnt seen a HMT style kit for the motor. Most turbo kits ive seen people have thrown together involve using either a t28 off the sr or t3/4 turbo with a upside down manifold. Also supplying fuel is gonna be odd since i dont think you can find any big injectors in the junkyard. Take a look at the nico forums for some more help http://www.nissaninfiniticlub.net/fo...s=&forumid=140

ya know, since I work at nissan, I'll tell you those motors are absoultly fantastic. everyones saying oh ya swap in a Sr20det, which is also good, BUT honestly those long *** stroke KA24's can lay down some decent power if setup right, we have a few local guys with some custom kits and they put down some good power. (sorry no info) just took quick glances and saw them at the track.

Look at what kind of injector it is...there could be other make cars with the same type of injector, but that flows more.
I would go standalone on that thing...or at least some good piggy back like SMT-6

I read an aritcle in some magazine back in like 98 of someone who turboed that same motor. I would say go for it, expecially if your saying you have a budjet of 1500. Go for it..
