Hey guys I posted this before the database took a dump. Anyway, here is some brief information on my build once more followed by pictures:

damn i must say that that is a nice clean build, was the megasquirt easy to hook up and are you running fuel and spark with megasquirt

They're 10" deep rims on the rear running 255's now but I am trying to find 305's that will clear the fenders.

No idea on numbers. Running 9.5 psi on 93 pump gas on 10.0:1 CR and FMIC. Clutch doesn't hold it. I am guessing 350whp due to volume of air and pressure and temperature (IC is real efficient). Building my other motor (same motor, the one you see in pics) for 8.3:1 CR which I plan to through 20 - 25 psi at on 93 pump gas, maybe a little higher if I do the alcohol injection but I am debating on how far I want to take this. Either way, doing a clutch over winter break - ClutchNet clutch similar to Spec stage 5

really nice. i've been planning a bmw turbo for a bit. is the M50 the 2.5L in the 325's too? or somethin bigger

hows it runnin with the megasquirt? why did you have to mod it for bmw ignition?

How much power are you making? How much boost?

In first gear I get the push of boost around 5k rpm, 2nd gear around 4k, 3rd is like 3700, 4th is around 3500, and 5th gear at 75 mph if I floor it, at 3k, th car pulls fine until about 3300 rpm when the torque comes in and the revs fly up as the clutch lets go. So, in 5th, I am seeing full 10 psi at 3500 rpm or so. Its a laggy setup with peak power in mind, not so much "linear pull." The car is very fast and violent - pretty fun and intimidating to drive.


As for power - I won't know until I hit the rollers. My tune is pretty modest, but I will hit it up on the dyno. I need to get a clutch in her first. That's coming soon.

I guess I have two questions.

1. Where did you get the ford/bosch 42# injectors?

2. Why did you go with a tiny ass sidemount lookin cooler when you went all out on everything else?

the intercooler is alot bigger than you think, most of it is hid behind the grill,

i though the same when i first saw it tho :S

I gaurantee that intercooler is wayyyy more effiecent than most of the 31'' x 6'' coolers that everybody runs around here......plus its sleeper mang.. ;)

The intercooler is 16x13x3 and is right up front. On the E34 (my chassis) there is no room for an intercooler down low. I used to have a 29x6x2.5" FMIC but i could not get it to fit without removing tons from the bumper.

My intake temps are ambient + 6 to 8 when cruising and under boost I rarely see more than 110 - 115.

As for the injectors, I can only do like $260 as they are brand new and flow tested. More than on ebay but eh.
