WHICH TURBO WILL SUIT MY REQUIREMENTS?

I have been racking my brains and searching trying to find ou what tubo will suit my requirements but im still not sure.
Im after a turbo that spools quickly and can produce a reasonable amount of mid and top end power. Im after trying to acheive arount the 260 - 270hp mark at arount 10 - 11psi.

Can anyone point me in the right direction as to what might be the most appropriate turbo?
I was looking at the t3/t4E turbo from westcoast turbo but there are that many variations, im baffeld

The help is most appreciated, Thanks

Chris

I would'nt go smaller than a T3-A/R .60/.48. A good choice will be a T3-A/R .60/.63 or a T3/T4, etc.. The link below also has some very helpful information.

I tell all my customers the same thing - depends on what you want to spend.

If you have lots of coin then a disco potato would be a good choice. They spool a lot quicker than the T series. Can`t rebuild them if they break.

I`ve done lots of B16`s in your performance range with T3/T04E 54 trim and stage 3 0.63AR turbine. Personally I find the stage 3 wheel is a little laggy for a B16 but I`m not 100% sure you will make your horsepower targets at that boost level with a straight T3 wheel.

a t3 super 60 will work good, even a straight .48/.60 t3 will work, both will spool quick and both can hold 10 psi 'till 8,000 rpm, the super 60 is much better though, and the super 60 will easily make 260 hp at 10 psi...

I was after running about 10 - 12 psi and thought i would need a 1 bar spring to do that, is that not the case? with the standard 7.5 psi spring be able to do that?

Thanks Again

At what price range do the super 60 fall in to? my total budget for my turbo project is around the £2000 mark, thats UK pounds. I think its around $3400 USD

Thanks Again

damn with 3400 i could have my car running high 9's. with that amount of money you should be able to let your mind wonder in many diferent dirrections. on a 1 bar spring your looking at 14.7 psi when including fmic and couplings it ussually drops 1 psi so you should be pretty close. if you wanted 10-12 psi you should have gone with a lower spring and tunred up the mbc or ebc.

In the UK prices are extortionate due to the 17.5% VAT and the 10% import tax. Including shipping from UK is works out alitlle cheaper and on sum items i can avoid import tax and vat. a basic turbo kit in the UK will cost around £2500 which is around $4250 USD. Im trying to source all my parts from the US
