So I'm in the process of my build, and I'm searching around for a nice t70. However, I have a perfectly good t04b laying on my floor with a 1.15ar turbine housing, and a 76 trim wheel. It's got a 60 trim compressor wheel- 54mm inducer, 64mm exducer. Can I throw a t70 t04s compressor housing on in place of the t04b housing? Or does this make no sense at all?

 

damn! 1.15 a/r exhaust housing.... thats big. whatcha building?

 

it's a 4.6 northstar single turbo, the t70 compressor housing seems to fit it nicely

 

ahh yes. im the guy that recommended the t70. i dont think you can mismatch turbo parts like that. what t70's have you found so far?

 

this is the one i've been considering:

but looking at those specs, i figured it'd be worth a shot (and cheaper) to modify the turbo i've already got. if only a t04s and t70 wheel could be fitted...

 

that turbo will be nice. the auctions says you can order different turbine a/r so that gives you options. i wouldnt try and swap turbo parts.
