with my setup, i used a greddy manifold, with the BMC Racing adapter to a 14b turbo. i cleared the a/c. unfortunally, the turbo is bad so i am getting another one. you have to shave a little part of the block but it doesnt ruin anything.

I have a T3 and an Ebay mani, the dp outlet ends up literally 2" from the back of the AC compressor. I took my setup to a local muffler shop to get a dp squeezed in there, at first the guy was like, no way, thats impossible, I left, came back a little while later to pick up the flange for it, and he already had a dp roughly formed for me. He took a piece of 2" tubing, flattened it, turned it down, cut it at the smallest possible angle, and then hammered dents into it so it would clear the bolts on the back of the compressor... lol. It looks like crap, and I am sure it is extremely restrictive, but it works.

Thats what I get for getting a normal muffler shop to do custom work for me.

2k -46 -49
3k -46 -46
3.5k -46 -46
4k -46 -48
5k -46 -49
6k -46 -49
6.5k -46 -50

ARE YOU INSANE!?

kinda lean on the hi side ain't ya? (-50%)
450-50% = 225cc!
450-47%=238.5cc
450-46%=243cc

sorry to jack the thread like that but whoa! these had to be brought up. Please tell me there's some good reason you run that lean?

yeah...i know it looks like a crackhead came up with those settings, but all the corrections are almost at -50 now at hi since i've been running 10-11psi.

DO NOT use my settings folks. i put them there for a reference!!!

it was wideband tuned on the dyno and now it's tuned daily with a techedge wideband unit. when i first set my settings my hi settings would progressively go to -35, but it was soo rich that the tuner couldn't even read it and i was losing over 20whp and we slowly moved the settings closer and closer into the mid to higer -40's.

i've been boosted for almost 13k miles and have been at 10-11psi for almost 5k miles and i beat the sh#t out of it.

it still runs rich...afr is in the 11.5-12.0 range all the way...sometimes it dips down even lower. i've never gotten any detonation.

the only thing i can think of is that maybe it's not breathing well with the 2"intake and filter, the 450cc injectors are flowing more than 450cc, obd2 is doing a whole lot of extra fueling, clutch isn't holding well (still have stock one in), wtf

the only thing that makes me think that the intake isn't really the problem is that i was getting 145whp at 6psi when i first installed it...this was on y7 that dyno's at like 90-95whp stock. i'm thinking when i finally replace my clutch and instally my y8 tranny and intake manifold i'll be able to change the corrections a little, but they will still look jacked up though.

i will even boost in lo throttle % getting 14.7 afr up to 5-6psi and not get detonation, but anytime it starts to boost that high at lo trottle i'll just floor it and it hits the fuel tables that take it immediately to 10-11psi and go rich into the 11 afr range.

i'm more than happy to take anybody for a ride to prove it.

sorry for the long response, but i think it is definately warranted so nobody thinks i'm full of sh#t. and again...please NEVER use somebody elses settings, because every setup is different even if it's the exact same setup.

Wow, that's fucked up. Maybe the injectors aren't really 450cc? If I would have used those settings my car wouldn't have moved. It would have been very easy to tell it wouldn't work. What is the altitude where it was tuned? Not that any altitude would make that big of a difference, but damn, there has to be some sort of explanation......
