Default turbo S10

any one got a turbo'ed S10? I'm building my buddies truck for him while he's in iraq and I'd like some help on where to get parts like an exhaust mani the one I got is for a cavi and the down pipe will hit the firewall if I use it I was thinking about cutting the flange off the mani I have now and getting the log mani kit from tunertoys I dont know if the B-series one will work or if I need to get the d-series one or if someone has already done this what mani should I use? I tried to search but the search button kept bringing me to a blank page.

#1, since you're using a "cavalier manifold" I'm gonna guess this is the 2.2 sohc?

The only time they "Rip" is when they have a SBC swapped into them. In all honesty, why don't you do a motor swap and drop in a 350 or a 383? Might be a bit cheaper and about the same amount of work.

yeah its the 2.2 OHV not SOHC, OBX makes manifolds for the 2.2 that looks like it would work but they were expensive for what they were anybody know where I could get a cheaper one?

this isnt my truck even if it was I wouldnt swap a 350 or 383 I would sell it and buy a honda but its not my truck or my money I'm just helping him do this, we also looked in to an ecotec swap but finding a RWD trans to bolt to the ecotec is a bitch and I dont wanna ---- with the 2.4 eco out of the colorado.

Hey Hey Hey now... i have a 99 blazer ZR2 w/ 33" tires, and 4.56 gears front and back...
It's got the Vortec v6... 265ft/lbs torque... NOT BAD for STOCK... and w/ the gears my truck beats any n/a stock civic

This spring, she's gettin the 5.7 Vortec OBD2 swap.
Direct swap... everything bolts right up... all i need is the v6 flywheel to bolt onto the v8... the v8 wiring harness, and a re-flashed ECU.
SIMPLE!!!! If you want some information on the swap... a great site that i go to is www.zr2usa.com (for the 4x4 s10's)
If your one of them low rider people.... you'll get flamed at that site haha.

Lift that sucker!
Lowered trucks are for wussies who have issues GETTIN IT UP!
