Default Turbo reccommendations

Whats up guys.

I am going to fabricate a system for my Honda CB750 chopper project. I am probably going to bore the cylinders out to around 1000cc but that would be the absolute max.

Bike is air cooled and I would like to keep it on pump gas.

What compressor would work for this situation and do you have an idea on a draw through carb?

A ssoc T70 would be perfect for that motor .

Are we talking about T3/4 T70? Isn't that a tad on the large side....?

Not an expert but I would go with 16G / T3 / Rx7 turbo mated with a T3 skyline turbo.

What CR? There's lots of good options. I would just go with a T28 which is a T25 with a T3 compressor wheel stuffed in it. That way you get the quick spool of the T2, but the top end of a T3 which on a bike would be needed. I would go for a T28 made with a largish, say, 60 trim T3 wheel. Like I said, lots of options though. I think a small turbine wheel would be a good decision though. A KKK K03 or GT17 off a Saab would also offer quick spool even on a 1000cc bike especially if the CR is high. Top end would be *** though if you want it to hold till redline. No matter what you'll give up some top end for quick spool or have lots of top end without any low rpm power which might not be that bad on a bike I suppose because the ****** could get squirrely. You can PM me for more info if you'd like. Good luck!

Thanks for all the suggestions so far.

The bike is air cooled so I think stock compression is around 9.2 or so. I am going to go through the motor and do some headwork so I am not sure what kind of compression I am going to aim for. Want to keep it pump gas friendly so we will aim for the 10.0 or less probably.

Any ideas what vehicles to find those turbos on?

I want to fabricate the kit complete myself.
