Ok, First off YES i did searches and read up a little but i didnt find what i was looking for.

Where do you guys preferre to buy your "NEW" turbos from. My freind has a lifted 73 chevy 4x4 with a LS1 and a turbo 350 trans and we want to do a home made twin turbo project on it. So i want to buy new turbos so one doesnt out perform the other and get the tunning all messy. I see turbos like This one but its buy ssautochrome =\ does anyone have any feed back on ACCUALLY using their turbo. If you have not Personally used them DO NOT REPLY cause i dont want your OPINION!

Then i goto places like This and it makes it look like a hell of a deal. Please let me know about these turbos. Thanks , dave

 

everbody on here cuses SSAUTOSHIT... Stay away from them period. If i were you id buy some quality reman/rebuilt turbos for much less

 

I read posts for about 30 minutes of what people said about "ssautoshit" and i never saw anything said bad about thier turbos. ONLY the manifolds and the wastegate flange. They sell wastegates too but nobody complains about those o.0

down2turbo sells remanufactured turbos on ebay, from 300 dollars and up. some ppl on here have used them and say they r good turbos.

turbo calculator has some of the better turbos out there...remanned atleast. at extremely good prices...but...you get ssautocrap and you are lucky if it even works...if it does work...you are beyond LUCKY!

I believe there was a post on here a while back regarding a bunch of Mustang guys who did a group buy on these turbos. More than 50% had balancing problems and I believe the turbine came off one of them. A couple got a replacement but the rest were screwed. Down2turbo or www.cheapturbos.com are what I would reccomend.

 

arent ssautoshit turbos power master turbos or other knock offs? Ill take a reman Garrett/AiResearch turbo over a new brazillian knock off
