Re:turbo porsche 944
thats what i was thinking we are going to peice a kit together and see what we can get going on. t3 or t3/t4 will prolly what happens.
Im wondering if it will make good power with a 14b but not sure and we are trying to find someone that makes manifolds

Re:turbo porsche 944
---- the 14b.
flanges are fucked, and it is small.
get a T3. that is the only way to do it. ...becuase if you find it is either too small or too big (more than likely too small) you can just bolt a new one in.

Re:turbo porsche 944
i think a t3 will do ok then yes we could bump it up if it isnt enough. Its pretty quick car. we were on a highway and a super charged 02 si tried racing i downshifted and pulled away and my friend stayed in 4th and walked right by him up all over me so im pretty sure alil bit of boost will go along way

Are you smoking crack? The largest turbine I would go with is a .80 Remember the 944's are a single cam Vdub motor. T3's are fine but the money shot is a t3/t4

Re:turbo porsche 944
All right t3/t4 it is. this should get good quick we just got a new head for it so some p&p is about to happen..
next problem we are having is hidding the intercooler but making it effective. it hides well because the front bumper is pretty much solid..so we are either cutting out the front bumper to expose the ic.. or something.

Re:turbo porsche 944
i4 vdub motors? gtfo
Porsche designed, and built every last motor that went into any 924, 944, or 968. You see the Audi/VW tag on some of the Porsche cheaper parts because VW made some misc interior pieces, fuse box covers ect.
Manifold is too hard to make, and motor will explode, just do a full turbo swap. I can get you the computer, harness, motor, everything you need for the swap for a little over 3500. Most people who do the swap also swap to the turbo tranny. I have a 88 turbo s tranny for sale/trade.
