Turbo No tune

Hi everyone. I know i KNOW!!! .ok well i am currently running 8 psi
stock motor stock injectors stock stock stock ect...This is not the first time ive
boosted either. but my question is why havent i blown up yet? ;D
i have been boosted for 2 years , ive went thru 4 turbos and all stock motor.
well it is a d15b jdm swap . but bone stock
thanks for your imput . im running Ct-26 setup today lol

turbof22a 08-18-2009 01:52 PM

becuase it is a shitty ct-26 turbo. notn relly but that turbo sucks balls for real. your just lucky or lying on of the two

bulletproof1013 08-18-2009 02:04 PM

well thats one of the turbo's that ive had. i also had a t25 t t3.t4 a super 60
this one is by far the best one ive had .

bulletproof1013 08-18-2009 02:09 PM

Oh yeah And I just Rebuilt the turbo. And its pretty good , < not lying , or whatever you ment . by your comment

turbof22a 08-18-2009 02:13 PM

nothing you can say will make me think a ct-26 is better than any other turbo

bulletproof1013 08-18-2009 02:23 PM

yeah cause i said it was the best turbo in the world...anyeeewayyyzz....read post before reply. thank you .

bulletproof1013 08-18-2009 02:24 PM

anyways the original post was up at the top . to anyone who has imput not *hatin imput*
i was just kinda wonderin if the jdm d15b was different than the d15b7

turbof22a 08-18-2009 02:36 PM

im not hating im just stating a simple fact that the ct-26 is an oversized piece of ---- that can barely keep up with the 14b. and if you have the non vtec d15b then yes its the same as the b7

bulletproof1013 08-18-2009 02:58 PM

That is a Fact eh:? where is that written at ? did you wiki that ahah here is a video . im not expecting much from you tho . you prolly just lau gh at it lol....btw you drive a f22 eh?

YouTube - revvin it up a lil

bulletproof1013 08-18-2009 03:04 PM

how the hell do i change that 0.0 bar on my name?

bulletproof1013 08-18-2009 03:05 PM

how to i change that 0.0 bar below my name?

e_racer1999 08-18-2009 03:34 PM

In order to change the 0.0 bar you have to run your car on water.

bulletproof1013 08-18-2009 03:43 PM

that doesnt help

there is this new thing called a flow chart they are pretty interesting if you know how to read them. but then again its a little more advanced then you seem capable of so i dont blame you for not knowing. i also had a crx with a ct26 on it so i know from first hand expierence. so yes it is written that the ct26 is not a very good turbo at all please stop thinking you are smarter than you are. arrogance will get you no where on this site. alot of people come on here all arrogant but soon learn that they have alot to learn before typing anything

kona447 08-18-2009 07:45 PM

so u have no FMU .. ? no ecu tune? no anything and it runs? dont think thats possible

bulletproof1013 08-18-2009 08:42 PM

yes it runs pretty good. always has. and its pretty possible. Im guessing yall have never been in the shop and found a turbo setup. and a old car. and slapped it on there and went out for the night. only thing that i have on there is a fpr which really doesnt mean anything
im a newb to this site , not to cars . thanks turboF22 i never knew about this thing you call a flow chart. OMFG.!!! wow you are really smart dude.!!! awsome you are the best !!!

bulletproof1013 08-18-2009 08:46 PM

<<<<<Is new To This Site NOT TO TURBO's Or cars or even the ct26. seeing as I work on toyota's for a living. But what do i know . Turbof22 dude knows best HAHAHAHAHH . thanks for the imput and i think that Kona is the only person that actually said anything about the original post lmfao
o well guess no one can answer I just wanted to know if anything was really different about a Jdm d15b block Versus a reg d15b7 or so (usdm) block , as taking boost and how strong they are.

Bulletman 08-18-2009 09:13 PM

2years? thats very nice, you ever dyno it?

bulletproof1013 08-18-2009 09:16 PM

no never dyno. but ive been to the track when i had the t3t4 shitty turbo on it . it ran like 14.2 or some ----. but then again that is all stock ---- ya know. think about if i had a full setup.

bulletproof1013 08-18-2009 09:18 PM

but i have went thru alot of turbo's on this motor. i was just saying a little bit ago, that i like the ct-26 the best MY opinion. the bigger turbo's which everyone wants are just laggy.
even the dsm's are a little laggy in my opinion,

hard2obtain 08-18-2009 09:25 PM

I don't understand why if you dont have any engine management the car doesnt goes into limp mode.

I put same turbo on a 90 hatch but it bogs at 3500rpm

Second, if you are untuned i dont know why you have that wideband hooked on your car... is whortless

bulletproof1013 08-18-2009 09:28 PM

i dont have a wideband....that is a 20 dollar from ebay lol....i have a couple check valves in line for the map sensor so that it doesnt read boost *no limp mode*
as for the bogging at 35 i have no idea on that are you tuned?

kona447 08-18-2009 10:30 PM

so ur saying all u have is check valves for ur map .. and your car doesnt ping when boost kicks in ?

turbof22a 08-18-2009 10:56 PM

yeah hes basically saying he is defying the law of physics and thermal dynamics. maybe one day we will all figure out the wizardry of turbochargers that he has. hes a douche bag pay no attention.

kona447 08-19-2009 12:17 AM

hahahaha

bulletproof1013 08-19-2009 09:29 AM

oh guys . im really not trying to get by on anything. or whatever you all think im doing. im only hitting 8 psi. I don't see the big deal? I guess im just telling a fib. if anyone else has done a turbo setup like mine. please tell these nice gentleman that . I live in north carolina if anyone would like to come see it.

kona447 08-19-2009 01:07 PM

u prolly have an ecu tune and u dont even know it !

bulletproof1013 08-19-2009 01:30 PM

I dowbt the 3 ecus I've had in there were tuned

bulletproof1013 08-19-2009 01:31 PM

running lil p06 right now but I have had the p07 and 28 in there

kona447 08-19-2009 01:34 PM

hmm .. word.. well i just dont see how u can run boost with nothing else

Bulletman 08-20-2009 11:15 AM

obd1?

bulletproof1013 08-20-2009 12:27 PM

yes obd1

Bulletman 08-20-2009 12:31 PM

get a obd1 teg ecu, will do ya good

bulletproof1013 08-20-2009 12:37 PM

is that that like a p74 or something? i had a p28

bulletproof1013 08-20-2009 12:39 PM

what is that p74/75 gonna do good for me ?

toyollAZ86 08-21-2009 11:09 AM

my buddy turbo'd his stock whatever d series motor and is running low 12's. its like a 4000 dollar turbo setup but the engine and block are bone stock. and im pretty sure he has a standalone. but stock internals. (with the acception of ARP headstuds and a metal head gasket, so possible lowered compression)

the internals can handle quite a bit. he keeps throwing rods cause he's pushing the ---- out of it. but if he didnt he'd be fine for years.

i ran my corolla all stock stock stock with 9 lbs for a while and it did fine as well. and it pulled hard. i killed a slow ass mazda speed3 with that setup. yup im proud of that. haha.

bulletproof1013 08-21-2009 08:49 PM

i just got back i ran like a 15.7, spinning my way lol. my reaction was like .980 HAHAHHA and my 02 sensor decided to take a dump on my on the way out there. Oh yeah and there was a EJ out there running 10.80 i took a small glance. looked like gsr turbo with drag radials, he broke a axle the second run

I believe you ran a 15.7, but a 14.2 is a little more unbelievable. I guess if you didnt blow your engine (untuned) your just lucky.
