since you seem to be a boost noob, get the hack and 450's for management than upgrade to turboedit when your comfortable with it

what about an SAFC controller. Won't that also curve my timing and balance my fuel pressure?

Electrical devices don't alter your fuel pressure.

You probably need to do a lot of research, but it basically just converts the voltage coming from your MAP sensor to tell the ECU less air is coming in, so the injectors will fire less often, so at idle and cruise the car will act basically normal.
