Nothing wrong with long gears

Your oem clutch wont last long if a single pass at all with 6+psi, might as well spend the very little money and upgrade it to a better NEW unit

Good idea to turbo the car though, do it for cheap

I'd recommend swap everything to D16A6 then turbo.

yeah I figure everything will transfer over to a new motor, I've pulled and dropped d series motors before so it's no big deal. I'd just keep it simple with an odb0 motor, cable trans swap. this hf motor seems really strong for what it is though, wonder how it will react to some boost. Any recommendations for a turbo to use on this thing? Nothing too big I imagine, like a t28 or something?

Swap first, don't wate your time on that shitty HF motor. You can get a D16a6 and SI tranny for a few hundred bucks. Go turbo after that.

so do i get 20 bucks when i post pics of it?

I'm thinkin you are probably right about the hf motor being a waste of time, haven't driven the hf in a while and I took her for a spin today. It's got even less ***** than I remember. (car was mine a couple years ago, sold to dad, he gave back after getting back from Iraq.)

here's a couple pics:

My dd is in the background in the second pic...
