Turbo on my prelude BA4 ?
First of all, nice forum and website, didn't seen it before.
My question is the following: I have a daily drivin honda Prelude BA4 4ws B20A5. Next spring i want to start with a turbo project, i know some stuff about it and i know a little what to need, but i found out a manifold is hard to find ,let alone engine management. Do you guys have any idea where to find the needed parts for my car? Thanks in advance. |
Re:Turbo on my prelude BA4 ?
How much power do you want to make??
Engine management is semi-universal. Turboedit may work for you but you could always go with an AFC and DSM 450's. Get a T3 turbo or if you want to spend the money get a T3/T4 |
Re:Turbo on my prelude BA4 ?
you need a nice t3 48/60... ten psi will turn you out.

Re:Turbo on my prelude BA4 ?
how mutch power? its 155bhp now, i was thinking of around 200.
So i do need to change my injectors you think? And what about a missinglink, is that nessesary? |
Re:Turbo on my prelude BA4 ?
only if u go with an fmu which i hope you don't, go with an afc and 450's at the least.

Read this thread a couple of times and it'll help you understand some of the options for fuel management:

it's not with a .48/.60 t3 but with a .60/63 nissan 300zx t3. that day at the dyno while tunning it made 270hp but that was towards the lean side of the afr. this is w/vafc. 450s',fpr,walbro 255 intank pump. |
Re:Turbo on my prelude BA4 ?
i think the prelude guy can make more than 230hp atleast. w/vafc
