Turbo manifold

Re:Turbo manifold
Comes with a lifetime warranty from manufacturer defects.
What is a "manufacturer defect" ?
hey its pretty cheap. Looks cool, if it works for awhile it could be worth it i guess.
Only obx stuff i have seen in person is my brother's header on a 240sx. It isn't that bad for like $160. At least obx stuff is cheap.
Oh and i really dig the pink carpet in those pics...

Re:Turbo manifold
Hey I am the one doing the turbo project. I have a 95 hond del sol s. Right now I have a d15b7 with a 55 shot nos, msd ignition, intake, Ngk cold 9 plugs, Si injectors, and other little stuff. I am going to swap that with a d16y8, Does anyone know the exact specs of that engine? Im going to use the intake manifold off of my d15, with the fuel rail and injectors, as well as the s20 tranny. Im thinking about a stage 2 clutch kit. Im also going to use a T3107 turbo, and a mark II deltagate wastegate. Its set at 9lbs, is that too much for the stock internals? I still have to figure out fuel management and other odds and ends. The obx manifold is the one I chose to use. I will let you know if it holds up. Does anyone have any recomendations for anything? I would like useful stuff not people dissin what I have, this is my first turbo project. Any other ?'s about the car and what im doing just ask!

Re:Turbo manifold
Ive searched everything and it did own me , but I have a friend runnin close to the same set up at 5lbs in a civic, hes steppin it up so im using some of his stuff, he'll be runnin 12-14 lbs. Im sure within two weeks, if everything is going right, well have everything figured out. Hes going with a hondata setup, so Ill be able to buy quite a bit of stuff. I think im going with a vortech fmu 12:1, not sure about the fuel pressure regulator, Would it be a good idea to get my ecu chipped? Pry going with a quiet bov, and gonna have the piping fabbed.

Re:Turbo manifold
Why are you using the d15 intake manifold and transmission?
The IM and tranny are some of the best things about the y8 in comparison with other D motors.
Sounds like you need to do a lot more research....FMU? Bleh. SS autochrome? bleh.
First off, get a complete y8 swap, a better clutch, a p28 ecu chipped for uberdata.....then you can add a turbo.

Re:Turbo manifold
Im using the s20 tranny, and my intake manifold because the engine I picked up for 350 and it was missing the stuff, so im using my stuff off the d15. As far as the FMU, every car ive seen, and my friend has seen that is boosted, there FMU's do fine under pressure. Im gettin an exidy stage three clutch as well. As far as the OBX manifold its not ssautochrome, and ive heard some of there manifolds are decent.

Re:Turbo manifold
Yeah im gonna get it going, and running, im gonna use what i have for now. I want to turbo it within the next two weeks, if something goes wrong ill just have to fix it. Ill try the fmu for now, later when i get some money ill upgrade.
