Does anyone now if a TDO5-14b turbo has the same exhaust flang as a T-25 turbo?

how do you know that? Can you tell me a web site or some kind of picture that i can compare them to each other!

 

How? because I have worked with both turbos Several times..
and have built a few projects using each turbo.

The website is currently down, so I dont have the pages that go along with these pics..

Both turbos may look slightly differnt, but the overal sizes and where everything sits is the exact same.

Ok!
So you now your turbo stuff well. Then tell me, a friend of mine ordered a manifold from hks for a b16 it should have a t-25 turbo that can bolt to it, but the turbo bolts to that manifold the wrong way... Do you now why??

The manifold your buddy ordered was a HKS B-series manifold for the JDM T-25 turbo. That turbo is found on the JDM SR20DET's on the silvia's and Nissan Sunny's. The turbo has a square rectangular flange that is very similar to a T-3 flange, but its a bit differnt. Only the JDM T-25 can bolt to that manifold. Tell your friend people all the time get confused with this manifold.

so what your saying is, with a little modification a t-3 cant bolt onto that manifold?

 

Ya know, I honestly dont know... I have only seen a few pics, I have not physically seen one. But I have seen a JDM T-25 turbo, and god they look pretty close.

How much are those manifolds? arnt they like 200 bucks for a cast manifold? For that price you could get a tubular short manifold for B-series with a T3 flange.
